Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor (born 10 April 1979) is a multi-platinum selling English pop singer and songwriter. Her music is a mixture of mainstream pop, disco and 1980s electronic influences. Sophie has started working on a greatest hits album. According to her, the album should be out sometime in March 2008. She s worked with Calvin Harris and Cathy Dennis as well as Richard X[16] on new tracks for the album, with one of them eventually released as a single. The compilation will, according to Sophie, feature only two new tracks in addition to the single releases from her first three studio albums.
